Website Development Process

1. GETTING STARTED
Review and sign the agreement on page one (bottom right corner) with the ONE contact person for communications. Then, schedule a meeting to secure hosting and integrate domains. We will issue an invoice for the deposit
2. SET UP
We ask you to fill out the web discovery form and provide any basic photos, logos, etc. Our team will install the content management system and do a thorough keyword search to make sure your site is set up to be found in search engines.
3. DESIGN
Web team will layout 2 home page designs with text and images provided within a few days of receiving the requested information.
4. REVIEW
We schedule a meeting where your team chooses which design you like best and suggest any additions or adjustments via a live Zoom web meeting.
5. USABILITY TEST
We finalize the designs and capabilities making sure everything is working as expected. We test things like contact forms and buttons.
6. FINALIZE
We meet with your team to review all functions of the website and record a video to help your team best manage your site for minor adjustments.
7. RELEASE
Once final payment is received, your site ‘goes live.’ We can give your team instructions on how to submit your site to Google.
Note
All design and layout meetings will be via Zoom so that we can use screenshare to go over the website and discuss the project. We will work/meet with your team, but we ask that we have one single contact person with whom to communicate.
HOSTING
If you do not currently have hosting we will provide you with a link to get the best deal available. We have two suggestions based on usability and reliability. We start most customers off with a shared hosting plan which is sufficient for most websites.
- BlueHost: Phone Support, SSL included with Domain, additional cost for domain privacy (Usually around $150 for 3 years to lock in the best deal.)
- NameCheap: Chat only support, servers located in the US, SSL included, privacy for domain included (Usually costs less than $50 the first year.)
